Determining the Size of Crawling Shoes
Baby shoes must always be exactly the right size, because if they are too tight or too small, healthy development of baby feet is hindered. If they are too big, they could be lost or cause children to trip.
Since children’s feet grow about 2 cm per year, you should ideally measure your baby’s feet about every 8 weeks to ensure the shoes still fit properly. To do this, simply measure the foot from heel to toe and compare the length with our size chart. When in doubt, it’s better to choose a larger size. If the shoes don’t fit, you can simply return them to us free of charge!
Our tip: Try the shoes on in the afternoon because feet can swell a bit during the day due to movement!
How to Clean Baby Shoes
The wool felt fabric makes it very easy for you to keep the crawling slippers clean because it cleans itself! If you occasionally air the shoes outside, dirt and odors are simply released, and the shoes are fresh again. If the little explorers’ shoes do get dirty, you can easily clean them again. Here are three tips on how to proceed best:
- Use a damp cloth, sponge, or soft brush for cleaning.
- Because of the leather sole, the shoes should preferably not be put in the washing machine.
- The dryer is also taboo. Instead, simply let the shoes air dry.
